so here's my attempt to fix that

mercury

in most media, mercury is usually depicted as a gray, brown or even blue and yellow color

these are not the colors of mercury however. mercury is gray, which i'll elaborate on in a second, but most images are too contrasted. the brown likely comes from colorized maps of mercury from mariner 10, and the yellow-blue one is caused by a false color map showing differences in mercury's composition across it's surface.
